Trials By Fire

Trials by Fire is a virtual reality thriller film, utilizing Unreal Engine, that will immerse the audience into the life of Charlie as she is trapped in a twisted game show ripped straight from her childhood.

In the 1990s…

Trials by Fire was a popular medieval themed game show made for kids. Teams would compete in skills based challenges and knowledge in order to prove their worth to become a knight for the Kingdom of Halifax and serve under Lord and Lady Halifax. Unfortunately, a series of murders and one unfortunate accident maiming a child resulted in the closure of the show. 20 years later, Charlie Moorehouse, a journalist who was a former contestant on Trials by Fire and dealing with past trauma tied to the show, receives a letter inviting her to travel back to the studio in a special reunion episode. Charlie is forced to relive and experience a twisted nightmarish version of her childhood if she is to survive the night.

Script

Trials by Fire, originally written as a six part miniseries, was then converted into a 152 page film script with a time close to three hours of content.
